The contract that governs your use of the AIYOU app, website, and healthcare services.
These Terms form a binding contract between you ("you", "user") and:
Together referred to as "AIYOU", "we", "us", or "our".
You must be at least 18 years old and have full legal capacity to enter into a binding contract under the laws of your country of residence. By using the Services you confirm that this is the case.
If you are using AIYOU on behalf of a minor or another person who lacks capacity, you confirm that you are their parent or legal guardian and that you provide all required consents on their behalf.
If you use the Services on behalf of a company, hospital, or other entity, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that entity to these Terms.
AIYOU is a voice-based AI healthcare management platform that offers:
Clinical care is delivered by independent Third-Party Providers. AIYOU acts as a technology platform connecting you with these providers and is not itself a healthcare provider.
You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and in line with these Terms. In particular, you agree not to:
AIYOU does not provide medical advice. The symptom checker and other AI tools offer general information and decision-support only. They are not a substitute for diagnosis, treatment, or advice from a qualified healthcare professional. In an emergency, contact local emergency services immediately — 112/108 in India; 999/112 in the UK. See our full Disclaimer for more.
Tele-consultations conducted through AIYOU in India are subject to the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines 2020 issued by the Board of Governors in supersession of the Medical Council of India (now under the National Medical Commission). Tele-consultations in the United Kingdom are subject to the General Medical Council's guidance on remote consultations and to MHRA rules where relevant. The Third-Party Provider remains responsible for clinical decisions; AIYOU provides the underlying technology and connectivity.
Where a Third-Party Provider issues a prescription through AIYOU, it is delivered to you electronically and tied to your Account via a unique reference. Dispensing of prescription medications is carried out by licensed partner pharmacies in line with the Drugs and Cosmetics Act 1940 and Rules (India), the Pharmacy Act 1948 (India), and the Human Medicines Regulations 2012 (UK). You must not share prescriptions with others or use them for purposes other than your own care.
Third-Party Providers are independent professionals or organisations licensed in their respective jurisdictions. AIYOU verifies basic credentials where reasonably possible but is not responsible for the clinical decisions, professional conduct, or commercial terms of these providers. Complaints regarding specific medical care should be raised directly with the Third-Party Provider and, where appropriate, the relevant medical or pharmacy regulator.
You retain ownership of any Content you upload (for example, symptom descriptions, photos, voice recordings, lab reports). By uploading Content you grant AIYOU a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to host, store, transmit, display, and otherwise use that Content solely to operate and improve the Services in line with our Privacy Policy. We use de-identified content for model improvement; we use identifiable health content for that purpose only with your separate, explicit consent.
You represent and warrant that you have the right to upload the Content and that it does not infringe any third-party rights or applicable law.
The AIYOU name, logo, app, website, voice models, source code, design, and all other materials are owned by AIYOU Solutions Private Limited and/or AIYOU Ltd and are protected by Indian and international intellectual property law. The AIYOU trademark is registered in India under Class 44 (TM 5940213). AIYOU Ltd has filed 5 design patent applications with the UK Design Registry.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Services for your own non-commercial healthcare purposes. We reserve all rights not expressly granted.
The core AIYOU app is offered free of charge. Some services — for example, paid tele-consultations, lab tests, or prescription medications — incur fees charged by the relevant Third-Party Provider. All applicable fees and taxes are shown clearly before you confirm payment.
Payment is processed by licensed third-party payment gateways. AIYOU does not store complete card numbers. Refunds are subject to the refund policy of the relevant Third-Party Provider; AIYOU will assist in raising and tracking refund requests but is not itself the merchant for those underlying services. Statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act 2019 (India) and the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (UK) are not affected.
We may add, change, or remove features, content, or functionality at any time. Where a change materially reduces functionality you rely on, we will give you reasonable advance notice in-app or by email. Continued use of the Services after a change means you accept it.
We may suspend or terminate your access to all or part of the Services, with or without notice, if:
On termination, your right to use the Services ends. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, liability, and dispute resolution) will continue to apply. We will handle your data on termination in line with our Privacy Policy and applicable healthcare record-retention rules.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Subject to the paragraph above, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AIYOU and its directors, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, and reasonable legal costs arising from your breach of these Terms or your unlawful use of the Services.
Neither party is liable for any delay or failure to perform any obligation under these Terms (other than payment obligations) that results from causes beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, war, civil unrest, government action, internet or telecommunications failures, or acts of third parties.
For users in India, these Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of India. The parties agree to attempt to resolve disputes in good faith. If a dispute is not resolved within 30 days of written notice, it will be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996 by a sole arbitrator, with the seat at Visakhapatnam and proceedings in English. Subject to arbitration, the courts at Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh have exclusive jurisdiction.
For users in the United Kingdom and the EEA, these Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any non-waivable consumer rights in your country of residence.
We send legal notices to the email address on your Account or via prominent in-app notification. You can send legal notices to AIYOU by email to aiyou@aiyousolutions.com with a copy by registered post to the relevant registered office (see section 1).
